At the end of June 2025, Concorde Consultants launched a new collaboration with the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) to support Kakada OEUM, winner of the 2024 Trophées de l’Innovation for Asia.
Concorde Partners with IRD to Boost AgriBioTech Innovation in Cambodia

Kakada’s award-winning project addresses one of Cambodia’s most pressing agricultural challenges: reducing farmers’ dependency on chemical inputs in rice production. Her goal is to establish the country’s first AgriBioTech startup producing bio-pesticides and bio-fertilizers — sustainable solutions designed to improve yields while protecting the environment and human health.
Under this 12-month program, Concorde’s Managing Partner, Arthur Mossa, will work closely with Kakada to help transform her vision into a viable business with tangible impact. The support will include:
1. Strategic and operational coaching to refine her roadmap.
2. Connections to key stakeholders in Cambodia’s agribusiness and innovation ecosystem.
3. Guidance on scaling from research to market-ready solutions.
This partnership is part of IRD’s broader mission to recognise and support young innovators across its international network whose projects contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. For Concorde, it represents an opportunity to bring our expertise in sustainable development, capacity building, and market facilitation to a project with the potential to benefit communities across Cambodia.
Arthur Mossa explains: “Our roadmap covers three main areas: bringing bio-pesticide and bio-fertilizer formulas to market readiness, building the company’s foundations, and securing early customers. By May 2026, we aim to have final tested formulas, a registered company with its first clients, and the regulatory process underway. The goal is to turn strong research into a business that can make a real difference for Cambodian agriculture.”
